FUNGICIDES

Fungicides are a type of pesticide designed to eliminate or inhibit the growth of fungi and their spores. They are effective in controlling various fungal diseases that can harm plants, such as rusts, mildews, and blights. Additionally, they can be used to manage mold and mildew in different environments. Fungicides employ diverse mechanisms to combat fungi, predominantly by disrupting fungal cell membranes or impeding energy production within these cells.
